Burton Peterson |
Chef Burton Peterson has always had a love for cooking. He has the ability to make a simple meal look and taste marvelous! He graduated from the Culinary Arts Institute, New York, in 1981, but his interest and attachment with the food industry goes further back.
Chef Peterson has been in the restaurant and hotel industry for the past thirty-two years. Throughout this time, his journey although has been uphill, but his dedication and love for cooking is what has become the reason for his success. Starting as a bus-boy and moving up to being a waiter and then dining room manager, Peterson is now a well-renowned chef in the Virgin Islands!
Chef Peterson has worked in many renowned restaurants and hotels both locally and abroad – the Waldorf Astoria in New York, The Buccaneer Hotel in St. Croix Virgin Islands, Susan at Cane Bay Virgin Islands, Carambola Beach and Resort, Virgin Islands, and Divi Carina Bay Resort and Casino, Virgin Islands are just to name a few.
Although he holds a full time position with the VI National Guard, Chef Peterson along with his highly professional staff members spends most of their time catering to the every whim and need of his loyal clientele. His pride in the work he does shows in the presentation of his food. |
